One great example of a May-December love affair is George and Amal Clooney. It can’t be denied that they are one of the most famous couples in Hollywood, seemingly perfectly made for each other. The now 59-year-old actor used to be a bachelor who never even thought of getting married, let alone have kids. However, his point of view started to change when he met the famous lawyer, Amal. Clooney became engaged to British-Lebanese human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin on April 28, 2014.

George’s world turned upside down when he met the intelligent and beautiful barrister. With a 17-year age gap, the film director believed Amal would think he was too old, but his age has never an issue between them. They got married in 2014 and welcomed their twins in 2017, named Alexander and Ella.
